In the technology driven world two people who have arguably had the biggest impact on our lives are Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg. On one hand Elon Musk owns Tesla, SpaceX and X (formerly Twitter) and on the other hand Mark Zuckerberg owns WhatsApp, Instagram and Meta (formerly Facebook). It isn’t just that these tech moguls own these big companies but they have quite contrary personalities. Zuckerberg is pretty evasive, solitary and pretty grounded but Musk is outspoken, exuberant and flamboyant. While both have pretty different areas of operations they have clashed online and the situations escalated pretty quickly and got serious. It even reached a point where these two men were ready to fight each other in a cage fight but it was later called off. While the in-ring battle might have been called off, it does give us a pretty solid ground to put their cars up against one another in a garage battle.
Times Drive readers we know that when it comes to cars Elon Musk kind of seem be everyone’s favourite in this battle as he owns a car company and has owned pretty rare cars over the years, like the McLaren F1, Bond’s Lotus to name a few but today we will be comparing the list of cars that these tech moguls currently own.
Elon Musk: Current Car Collection
Elon Musk is a true car guy and the cars he has owned over the years clearly depict his passion for cars ranging from BMW’s to McLaren. In a recent podcast with Joe Rogan, Musk revealed that he currently owns only two fuel based cars - the Jaguar E-Type and the Ford Model T. Other cars in Musk’s current collection include the Tesla Cybertruck prototype, Model S Plaid, Model X and the Model 3.
Mark Zuckerberg: Current Car Collection
We all know Mark Zuckerberg likes wearing simple clothes and living a modest lifestyle. While you must not be expecting something special from his garage either looking at his simplicity but he does have a rabbit under his hat. Mark Zuckerberg’s car collection is filled with more practical and daily drivers like the Honda Fit, Acura TSX, VW Golf GTI and a Infiniti G25. While this car collection seems very humble there is one more car in his collection that makes this garage battle quite worth it i.e. his Pagani Huayra. The Pagani Huayra owned by Mark Zuckerberg is a limited production car and only 100 units of these were ever built making it quite exotic.
Elon Musk vs Mark Zuckerberg: Who Wins?
As much as we would love these two to battle it out in a cage fight the results of their garage battle currently have no clear winner. If we have to look at the overall garage then Elon Musk has a more impressive car collection but if we have to see who owns the best car then without doubt Mark Zuckerberg’s Pagani Huayra knocks the ball out of the park. While Musk’s garage might impress environmentalists, Zuckerberg’s garage will appeal more to true petrolheads and enthusiasts.
