Advantages of arbitrage with DEXs
Higher spreads
During moments of high volatility, the difference between CEX and DEX exchanges can be up to 100%. As a rule, the spread in CEX+DEX pairs is much higher than in CEX+CEX pairs.
Longer Spreads
DEXs are used by fewer people than CEXs, so a large spread can last for several hours.
Large volume per trade
Often, there is a higher liquidity on the same pair on DEXs than on CEXs. This makes it possible to swap a larger volume at once.
Fast transaction execution
You don't need to catch the best price with orders, you close the deal at a good price right away. At the same time, the risk of going into the negative due to slippage is under your control.
Less competition than on CEX-CEX
Dex exchanges are used by significantly fewer people, and market-making on DEXs also works poorly. Thanks to this, lagging prices on DEXs occur more often and are easier to grab.
