Managing a team has been incredibly rewarding, but it also requires so much more from yourself – emotionally, spiritually, physically.
It isn’t rooted in love for the work, it is rooted in love for the people that are served by the company.
Don’t try to force your old energy, your old schedule. Move into a new way of living.
Founders should be aware that if they have a good idea, a solid plan, or a little bit proof of concept, there’s going to be investors that are interested.
Just like with children, it’s our responsibility to our businesses grow and give them everything they need to fulfill their potential and what they want to be. After a certain point, you might not be the person who can continue to support that growth.
