The First Historical Archives of China (FHAC, Chinese: 中国第一历史档案馆) is home to many historical documents managed by the National Archives Administration of China. The First Historical Archives of China is located in Beijing and has China's central government archives of Ming and Qing dynasties.

The oldest known Chinese writing has been found on animal bones — known as oracle bones — dating to 3,600 years ago during the Shang dynasty.
