Cheap holidays post-Brexit: 10 destinations with the best exchange rates (1)

The vote for Britain to leave the EU has already had many consequences for those living in the UK.

The pound plummeted to the lowest level since 1985 and as a result weakened it against the euro and the dollar.

Months of economic turmoil have been forecast and many Brits have been left wondering if they will be able to afford their long-anticipated summer holidays.

If you've already booked a vacation to Europe or the States you might feel the squeeze.

However, if you're yet to book there are still plenty of destinations that offer better value for money when it comes to exchange rates than they did three years ago.

Ian Strafford-Taylor, CEO of FairFX, said: “The Brexit referendum had an immediate impact on the value of the pound with sharp drops and volatility since the result on Friday morning.

“Concerned holidaymakers can try avoid the fallout by being smart about where they book.

“Picking destinations which offer favourable long-term rates mean that you’ll get more for your money and therefore much better value this summer.

“In fact, it could work our even cheaper to holiday long-haul to a dream destination you never thought you could afford.”

From Argentina to Zambia, Travel money specialist FairFX have compiled a list of the top 10 best-value holidays for Brits post-Brexit.
