  • Yes. You’ll be welcomed as an Apple team member.

  • This is a part-time role and you’ll work 20 hours per week. We’ll also work with you to accommodate your class schedule.

  • You can start anytime from January to June and the program lasts for 12 months, at a minimum, though you’re eligible to continue each year through graduation.

  • You’ll learn more about pay and benefits during the recruiting process.

  • Yes. You’ll be paid your full starting rate during the training period.

  • Yes. All Apple Support College Advisors receive a robust benefits package, including product discounts and paid time away.

  • You must be enrolled in classes at a designated university throughout your employment, and a cumulative GPA of 2.7 or higher is preferred. You should be able to balance your planned school load with your work as an Advisor.

  • The program lasts for 12 months, at a minimum. To be eligible, you must be a current student enrolled in at least one class at a participating university for the duration of the program.

  • You’ll work where you live, so you must have a private, quiet, distraction-free room. You must have or be willing to get a desk, an ergonomic chair, and a hardwired high-speed internet connection from a reliable provider. This connection must be able to maintain a consistent speed of 10Mbps for downloads and 3Mbps for uploads, as well as less than 150ms latency while connected to Apple VPN. Students living in college dormitories are not currently eligible to participate.

  • Yes. We’ll provide reimbursem*nts up to an amount we’ll discuss during the recruiting process.

  • No. We’ll provide an iMac and a headset to be used exclusively for your Advisor work.

  • Training typically lasts up to nine weeks, led by an instructor presenting live through an online program. The topics covered include Apple products, advanced troubleshooting, and job-specific tools and processes. Most importantly, you’ll learn Apple’s unique approach to customer support.

  • You’ll train and work in your home office, using the iMac we provide for your role as an Apple Support College Advisor.

  • It helps to have some experience with Apple devices, including Mac, iPhone, and iPad. But if you have experience with other operating systems and you’re willing to commit to using a Mac for your training, you could be a good candidate for this program.

  • Once you get your class schedule, your manager will work with you to establish your custom work schedule around your classes. Typical Advisor schedules include three evening shifts during the week and one weekend shift, usually on Saturday.

  • Apple experiences a large customer demand for help on major holidays. Whether someone needs help with an Apple product received as a gift or wants to know how to share photos from a family gathering, we want to support them. To deliver the experience they expect from Apple products — and Apple customer service — we do need Advisors to be available on holidays, as well as nights and weekends.

  • You should work directly with yourschool to determine whether you’re eligible for college credit.

  • Part-time and full-time career opportunities with Apple are available throughout the year — at Apple offices and the Apple Store — depending on our business needs. As an Apple Support College Advisor, you’ll gain many of the skills that could help you stand out as a candidate when you apply.

  • An ideal candidate has a passion for working with technology and helping people. You must enjoy troubleshooting and working independently without in-person supervision. And you should have good multitasking skills to manage multiple systems and applications simultaneously.
