Capitec Bank is now the largest bank in South Africa – by far - when considering the number of clients who use it as their main bank.
This is according to data from the 2017 Publisher Audience Measurement Survey (PAMS).
About 9.17 million people say that Capitec Bank is their main bank.
Absa has 5.06 million customers who use it as their main bank, followed by FNB (5.01 million), Standard Bank (3.97 million) and Nedbank (3.36 million).
