A BlackRock hedge fund manager, whose strategy is up 370% over the last decade, earned more than the firm’s CEO Larry Fink last year, according to a report from Bloomberg.

Bloomberg, citing its own data, reported thatAlister Hibbert’s$9bn BlackRock Strategic Equity hedge fund was responsible forearning almost half of BlackRock’s record performance fees in 2020.

The publication also cited individuals familiar with the matter who said Hibbert is the company’s highest-paid employee, earning even more than chief executive Larry Fink.
