Best for the price

If you are on a budget, this is the collection to get a firm start using world instruments. Very usable programming, and the samples are easy to seat in virtually any mix. Some learning to how to get the most out of more advanced program options but worth every penny. Even more so on sale.

Are there better options? Yeah. But they cost way more, and they aren't as broad in their selections.
This is perfect for Beginners and intermediate producers, but also has enough flavor for more professional stuff. A good pro can make nearly anything here work.

Incredible!

If you are looking for authentic instruments from all over the world, this is it. Note: this library is very organic, and realistic not hybrid or synthy at all. I compose a lot of world music and this library has been indispensable. The quality of each instrument is remarkable, musical, dynamic, and detailed. Additionally, you have options like natural tuning or western tuning for some of the non-western instruments. The plucked strings ie mandolin, koto, Zheng, dulcimer, and the various Gamelans and metal instruments have been my favorite.

In most cases they provide time-sync loops if you so choose. Also, they clearly went for "world" instruments, so it"s not the usual stuff you find in bulk libraries. For example, you want traditional violin, this is not the right library; if you want goahu, or Morin Khuur strings, this is it. I highly recommend this product!

Also, each instrument offers a description of the history and general region of the instrument which is helpful if you want to be authentic.

The other review mentions the installation—it isn"t the usual way thru the native download software, you download the software directly from best service. Not really a big deal, just different. Now stop reading and go buy this!

Ease of setup

Very difficult to setup and virtually not much help.
