This is another segment that is up so far this year, albeit not by much. Not surprising, given that all the automakers were favoring trucks when the microchips were extremely short in supply. Pickups are among the most profitable vehicles the automakers assemble. No big surprise the Ford F-Series lineup has a sizable lead, even in the early going of 2023. It has been the best-selling vehicle overall for decades.
