Kununu (Europe’s largest employer-rating platform) and Freundin (a German women’s magazine) ranked Grüner Fisher Investments among their most family-friendly employers in Germany and Austria. They judged companies based on employees' anonymous reviews of work-life balance, career education and benefits. Grüner Fisher Investments ranked #11 in the list of the 626 most family-friendly companies in the region.
Kununu (Europe’s largest employer-rating platform) and Freundin (a German women’s magazine) reviewed more than 2 million online reviews of over 200,000 companies to determine their list of the most family-friendly companies in Germany and Austria. They asked employees to rate their employers according to family friendliness. Employees were able to rate their employers anonymously, with a special focus on the following family-friendliness categories: superior behavior, work-life balance, equal rights, career education, salary and benefits and dealing with colleagues over age 45. In order to qualify for ranking, companies have to offer the following benefits: flexible working hours, home office, childcare and company pension schemes. kununu Top Company 2022
GFI received the prestigious Top Company 2022 Award from kununu, one of the leading European platforms for employer evaluation. Employees and candidates can rate their company on kununu in terms of working atmosphere, culture, communication and various social aspects. Only 5 percent of the companies listed on kununu meet the criteria to qualify for this award.
To be considered for a kununu “Top Company” recognition, a company must have at least six reviews from employees on the kununu platform. The employer must have an average employee rating score for the past twelve months must be at least 3.8 stars. There must also be at least one review in the last 12 months. Updated ratings are also considered as new ratings. Neither Grüner Fisher Investments nor its affiliates pay to be considered for this award.
A Top Mittelstand Employer
In 2020, Grüner Fisher Investments has been named “Top Mittelstand* Employer” by Focus-Business magazine in a survey based on data from kununu, an employer ratings platform. “We are very proud of our fourth-place finish in the “Finance” sector. The Citywire Deutschland Award 2021, based in Germany, recognized Fisher Investments as the “Best Fund Manager” in the Global Equities category. The “Best Fund Manager Awards” are given to the asset managers who have achieved the highest risk-adjusted performance in a specific category over the past three years up to August 31, 2021.
These are based on the individual track records of all strategies that they managed in the category over this period. Swiss Sustainable Funds Award – “US Equities” Category
Fisher Investments was recognized by the Swiss Sustainable Funds Awards for its US Small Cap Core Equity ESG strategy, which won the 2021 “US Equities” category.
This award recognizes the top performing US equity strategies most committed to socially responsible investment practices. The Swiss Sustainable Funds Awards winners are selected by an independent committee, which evaluates funds and asset managers on qualitative and quantitative factors, including investment process, sustainability objectives, management team quality and performance history.
Climetrics Fund Award
Fisher Investments was recognized by CDP, the leading global organization measuring the environmental effects of companies, investment funds, cities, regions, and countries. CDP awarded Fisher Investments' Emerging Markets ex-Fossil Fuels Equity product with a 2021 Climetrics Award.
The annual Climetrics Fund Awards recognize the top five Global, European, US, and Emerging Markets equity products for environmental performance. Award winners are selected from a universe of approximately 20,000 products based on their underlying "Climetrics" scores. Climetrics scores are based on a product's portfolio holdings, investment policy and governance of environmental issues. FI did not pay a fee to participate in the award.
‘Towards Sustainability’ Label
The ‘Towards Sustainability’ quality standard and label were developed on the initiative of Febelfin (the Belgian financial sector federation) with an objective to qualitatively and quantitatively increase the level of socially responsible and sustainable financial products, and to mainstream its principles towards traditional financial products. As of July 2021 Fisher Investments has two strategies carrying the ‘Towards Sustainability’ label: Fisher Investments Institutional US All Cap ESG and Fisher Investments Institutional Emerging Markets Responsible Equity ex-Fossil Fuels.
Financial products are awarded the ‘Towards Sustainability’ label by the Central Labeling Agency (CLA) of the Belgian SRI label based on adherence to the ‘Towards Sustainability’ quality standard (for sustainable financial products).
Austrian Ecolabel for Sustainable Financial Products
The Austrian Ecolabel is awarded to products and services that represent more environmentally compatible options within a range of comparable products offered. Financial products, awarded with the Ecolabel, must fully meet the relevant criteria of Ecolabel Guidelines’ three primary priorities. One, a sustainable financial product must be able to identify companies that deliver a positive performance for the society and the environment. Two, uses a research process that meets the quality standards defined in the Austrian Ecolabel guidelines. Three, meets transparency requirements guarantying that investors can get a clear picture of the sustainable investment strategy, the portfolio and issues included therein. As of July 2021 Fisher Investments has one product carrying the Austrian Ecolabel: Fisher Investments Institutional Emerging Markets Responsible Equity ex-Fossil Fuels.
Financial products are awarded the Austrian Ecolabel based on adherence to the Austrian Ecolabel standards “UZ 49” after an independent audit and confirmation by a qualified control body.
