The Apple Grant Program

The Apple Grant program was established to provide teachers with a monetary source to enhance the educational experience of their students, and is an on-going annual grantmaking program of The Troy Foundation.

The Apple Grant Program provides an opportunity for kindergarten through 12th grade teachers in the Troy City School District, Overfield School, Miami Montessori, St. Patrick School and Troy Christian School to apply for grants of up to $1,000. The total project budget must not exceed $1,000. Schools must provide the number of students that are Troy residents. Grants should be for projects, equipment, programs or field trips that enhance the educational experiences of their students.

Eligibility:

• Who is eligible to apply?
  • Teachers from Troy City School District, St. Patrick School and Troy Christian Schools, Overfield Early Childhood, and Miami Montessori. For St. Patrick School, Miami Montessori, Overfield Early Childhood and Troy Christian Schools, please include the number of Troy students that attend your schools
• The Total Project Budget may not exceed $1,000.00
• Eligible applications must be signed by the Superintendent and Building Principal where the applicant teaches.
• Schools must provide the number of students that are Troy residents.
• Grants should be for projects, equipment, programs or field trips that enhance the educational experiences of their students.
