Apple was accused of “profiteering” from UK customers after analysis by The Times revealed two thirds of its products, including iPhones, Macbooks and watches, cost the same in dollars as they did in pounds.
A survey of more than 50 identical products on Apple’s US and UK websites found products sold in Britain were up to a third more expensive. On average prices in Britain are 22 per cent higher after tax.
