AppleCash is a digital card that lives in Wallet. It’s an easy way to send and receive money from Messages or from Wallet. And because it’s a digital card, your AppleCash can be spent in stores, online, and in apps with ApplePay. You can view your AppleCash balance on your AppleCash card in the Wallet app or in Settings > Wallet and ApplePay. You can also set up AppleCash for family members under 18 years old, so you can safely send them money they can spend with their own AppleCash card.
In Messages, tap the + button, then select AppleCash. Enter an amount on the keypad and tap Send. In Wallet, choose your AppleCash card and tap Send or Request. You can select from a list of suggested recipients or simply type in a contact. Enter an amount on the keypad, then tap Send.
Your AppleCash balance lives on your AppleCash card in the Walletapp. When you receive money in Messages, you’ll get a notification from Wallet that your balance haschanged.
You can use AppleCash to make purchases just as you would with physical cards and cash. It works anywhere ApplePay is accepted — in stores, online, and in apps. You can also transfer your AppleCash to your bank account. If you have an AppleCard and choose to automatically save your Daily Cash in a Savings account, you can use AppleCash to move money in andout.4
Yes. With AppleCashFamily, you can set up AppleCash for members in your FamilySharing group who are under age 18. Once it’s set up, they can send, spend, and receive money using AppleCash. You can receive notifications when they make a transaction, limit the people they can send money to, and even lock theiraccount.
AppleCash is a digital card in Wallet that lets you send and receive money in Messages or Wallet. The money you receive appears on your AppleCash card in Wallet. You can spend it however you like in stores, online, and in apps with ApplePay.
ApplePay enables you to make secure, contactless purchases using AppleCash, AppleCard, and any other credit and debit cards that you add toWallet.
You can easily transfer money to your AppleCash once you’ve added a debit card to Wallet. Any money you receive in Messages or Wallet is automatically added to your AppleCash balance. For users under 13, money is added to their AppleCash card only when someone sends them money.
If you use AppleCard, your DailyCash back is also deposited to your AppleCash card if you set it up. And if you haven’t set up your AppleCash card yet, you can either route your DailyCash to a Savings account or apply it as a credit on your statementbalance.
