A lovely, bright, sunny Stockholm apartment
Friday 23 March 2012
Hej heeeej and happy Friday! Any great plans for the weekend? If you're house hunting, perhaps this lovely place in Södermalm, Stockholm could be worth a visit. I love the way they have made maximum use of the 73 m square. Naturally, I love the all white look with fantastic splashes of colour. But I also love the way the owner has created different spaces within one room, such as a work space all along one side of the room, a reading corner, and a day bed by the 'kakelugn' fire.

The gold frames are stunning - especially with the pink. And that ladder....I'm such a fan!

Oh so sunny. The kitchen is my fave with the bright yellow tile and the double doors.

Hi Niki, I just love the white floors. The apartment is really nice.
I have also seen in one of your posts earlier pictures of a house where they had pictures on the wall saying 1, 2, 3 for the fifferent levels in the house. Can you remember where you have that, what day you posted? I am thinking of doing something similar here at home. I am this weekend painting the entire kitchen :)See ya!

I love the crown moulding + fireplace - both remind me of the architectural details of the apt hubby and I rental in our Spain vacation last year. Hmmm, I may have to do eye my living room. This may be a GREAT DIY (though my DIYs usually entail me recruiting my husband for his muscles) :) Have a GREAT day Niki!

I love the playfullness of the interior design. It has both the traditional minimalistic Scandinavian design features, but combines it with colors and objects that makes it more cosy, personal and interesting.
Great job! I am definitely coming back next year to see and be inspired of more Scandinavian design...
