Supporting Christian women to prosper financially is one of my biggest passions as a coach. Many, many years ago, my finances were a hot mess. I had no idea how I would get out of six-figure credit card debt from a failed business partnership. The stress was unbearable. I clearly needed God’s help. So, I began praying for a financial breakthrough.

I decided I needed to renew my mind to align with God’s promises. Then my money mindset and my finances improved over time. My relationship with money got healthier because I straightened out my beliefs by studying God’s Word.

Now as a Ramsey Solutions Master Financial Coach, I get to share how God turned my finances around (and helped me pay off all the debt without bankruptcy!) by teaching me to trust in His promises.

You can read how God called me to be a financial coach HERE.

Three things God wants you to know when praying for financial breakthrough

The first thing I had to learn is that as Christians, we are not to depend on the things of this world to provide for us. Our jobs, salaries, clients, and the stock market are not our source. They are only channels to receive. God is the source of everything we need.

The second thing I had to learn is money is a good thing. It’s a resource that can be a force for good. Money funds the missions of many powerful ministries that are diligently fulfilling the mandate from God to feed and clothe those who are in need. How can anyone call money evil when it’s a vital resource to do God’s work?

The third thing I needed to learn is God wants His children to prosper and increase in the area of finances. God wants us to reflect His goodness, which includes His desire for us to thrive in every area of life, including finances. We are blessed to be a blessing to others.

When we have plenty of money and we manage it properly, we end up having enough to take care of our needs AND bless those around us.

Once I understood those three things, I continued to apply God’s Word to my life. I began by studying what the bible says about prosperity, finances, and building wealth as a Christian. I stood on His promises and declared the Word over my life daily.

These are bible verses I still declare today. I’m happy to share them with you to help you renew your mind as you declare them over your life every day.
