So you take the phone in the bathroom with you, huh? Well, you’re not alone. In fact, some surveys estimate up to 75% of people “admit” to using their phone in the bathroom. Just don’t drop your phone in any …uh… water.

Below are 5 websites and apps that I have personally used to make money in my free time. You will find that most of them even have sign up bonuses!

Unfortunately, these apps and sites aren’t going to make you rich. I don’t recommend spending your whole day trying to make money on them. You will get small amounts of money and rewards at a time.

However, if you are spending a good amount of time tapping on your phone to pass…the time, you might as well get rewarded.

Paid Viewpoint is one of my favorite places for surveys. After you sign up, you will be sent occasional company paid surveys and trait score surveys.

The higher your “trait score,” the more money you will earn for each answer. So make sure you answer honestly so you can remember your answers and raise your score!

There is a $15 minimum account balance required to cash out and you can receive your payments via PayPal.

Swagbucks:

Swagbucks is a very popular rewards site. After creating an account, you can earn money or gift cards for taking surveys, watching videos, shopping, playing games, searching the web, and more.

Users earn “swagbucks” instead of points and you can cash out your swagbucks for rewards as soon as you have your desired amount.

Tellwut:

Tellwut is an online survey site where you can take surveys and polls created by other users or businesses. You can also log into your account every day and take a daily survey. Upon sign up, you will receive extra points for completing your profile.

Generally, you’ll need to allow 10-15 days to receive your survey points and you can redeem your points once you collect 4000 points ($10.00)

Google Opinion Rewards:

Google Opinion Rewards is an app that will never leave my phone. I’ve been a user or a couple years now.

The surveys come randomly, but are so simple and easy to complete. Most of the surveys are three questions long and take 10 seconds to complete.

Heads up, you’ll want to allow location services to be used by this app. You will receive surveys for places you visited or shopped at.

If you are an Android user, the money you earn will be credited to your Google Account. You can use your rewards to buy anything in the Play Store from books to games. (Consider buying a “F.I.” eBook!)

If you are an iPhone user, Google Opinion Rewards will automatically send your money to your PayPal account every time you reach $2.00.

Make Money – Free Cash App

This app has an incredible Google Play rating of 4.6/5! The “Make Money – Free Cash App” is an app that allows people to earn points for playing games, watching videos, trying apps, completing surveys, buying products, and more.

I have received about $30 from this app in the first month I downloaded it just from playing the games and doing a daily check-in. The app requires a low payout of only 5,000 points ($5.00.)

Warning: the app plays a lot of ads and not all of them are kid friendly. Therefore, if you are thinking about downloading a game and letting your kids play it, use with caution!

By the way, you can use these websites outside the bathroom, too. Keep these sites and apps handy for when you are in waiting rooms, taking a long car ride, or anytime you are just waiting around places.
