Aztec, Mayan, and Colonial architecture is scattered throughout the land and it is fast becoming a cosmopolitan hotspot with chic shopping, gourmet restaurants and a sensational nightlife too. George Clooney, Gwyneth Paltrow and Cindy Crawford own exotic and modern holiday homes here, so why not make it your permanent pad? With an influx of Americans, wanting to take advantage of their neighbours greatness, safety in no longer an issue. I hear you gasp as you imagine Mexico City’s drug lords charging around with Tequila and hand guns but it is simply untrue – Mexican’s are kind, charming and polite. This country is lively, with a wide array of unspoiled locations, rich in beauty and suitable for any sophisticated gent.
