Use a contactless ATM
Every MoneyLion account comes with a virtual card that sits in your MoneyLion app, or optionally your Apple or Google wallets. In fact, you have a virtual card ready to go at the moment you open your MoneyLion account, even before you get your physical card.
MoneyLion’s RoarMoney account is a partner with the Allpoint network of ATMs that features more than 55,000+ units worldwide. Out of 55k, over 10,000 ATMs participate in the Allpoint Mobile Cash program that enables you to withdraw cash from your virtual MoneyLion card.
The process is extremely easy:
- Open virtual wallet
- Find your virtual card
- Tap the‘ Mobile Cash’ icon
- Scan QR code at the Allpoint ATM
- Withdraw cash
Allpoint is located in the US, the UK, Canada, Puerto Rico, Australia, and Mexico. Allpoint ATMs are situated in some of the most well-known retail stores in the world. These include Target, Walgreens, Circle K, CVS, Kroger, Safeway, and many others. There are also many standalone ATMs as well.
To find their ATM, look for the Allpoint logo or use their locator.
Send money to your friend’s account
If you don’t have your MoneyLion card with you and you desperately need cash, you could transfer cash to your friend’s account and they can withdraw money for you (if they have their card with them).
Send money to their MoneyLion account or use an app such as Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, PayPal, or a similar platform that transfers money instantly. They could also lend you the money if you can’t transfer it at the moment.
Transfer funds to another bank account
This will be useful if you don’t have your MoneyLion card but you have a different bank account card with you. If you haven’t done this before, the process is straightforward:
- Tap the ‘Finances’ tab in the MoneyLion app
- Tap ‘Transfer’ and select your MoneyLion account in the ‘From’ field
- Select your bank in the ‘To’ field
- Fill in the amount and tap ‘Continue’
If your bank isn’t listed, you’ll have to tap ‘Add account’ and select your bank or search for it if t isn’t listed.
