PLACEMENT AND DURATION
Summer Analysts will join us for a competitive, 10-week program and are placed into a specific team within the Wealth Management Home Office. These teams are designed to offer a real-world, project-based experience of what it’s like to be a Wealth Management professional. Morgan Stanley Wealth Management is broken up into the Field and the Home Office. Summer Analysts are placed in the Home Office where the development and strategy of products, investment solutions, digital offerings and research take place for Financial Advisors to leverage with our clients. Summer Analysts will gain a thorough understanding of the Wealth Management business and the full range of financial products and services available to our clients. Summer Analysts will complete a week of training prior to joining their team for the summer. During the 10-week program, Summer Analysts experience the culture and atmosphere of Morgan Stanley by performing a role similar to a Full Time Analyst.

The Wealth Management Headquarters is based in Purchase, NY. The Summer Analyst Program placements will be in either New York Metro or Purchase, NY based on your group’s main location.

TRAINING PROGRAM
The Wealth Management training program consists of a curriculum designed to equip Summer Analysts with the fundamental skills they need in order to be successful in Wealth Management. The Program is one week long and includes a Firmwide orientation, business overviews, professional development, technical training and networking events. Senior and peer speaker series are also a part of the overall training and are run throughout the duration of the Program.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities vary according to the Home Office group you are placed in. You will collaborate with your team and larger division to create tailored, custom solutions for our clients. Potential Wealth Management Home Office roles cover a wide range of disciplines and may include but are not limited to:

- Investment research and due diligence

- Financial Wellness
- Marketing
- Business Development
- Strategy
- Portfolio Construction
- Sales Engagement

QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS/ REQUIREMENTS
- You are pursuing an undergraduate degree with an expected graduation date between December 2024 and June 2025.
- Minimum 3.5 GPA.
- You have basic knowledge and a keen interest in finance.
- You are analytical, results-driven, able to multi-task, and a team player with a positive attitude.
- You possess strong oral and written communication skills.
- To qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States, without requiring, now or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status.
